The past two weekends have been hectic to say the least. Emily's buddy Abby had her first birthday party last weekend. A grand time was had by all! Emily was the most mobile of the little ones and really wanted to help show Abby how opening gifts was done... :) It also made her the most challenging for mom and dad to keep up with. The one moment she escaped our eyes was also the moment that we found her dangling another dad's high end digital camera by the strap -- apparently it was in the diaper bag and not zipped up. Thankfully all came away unscathed and Connor's dad was very understanding! :) All in all it was a great party. In addition to the pictures on our website - you can see pics from this party at:

Then Valentine's weekend was here - it was a low key weekend at our house. Emily and mom went consignment sale shopping - and brought donuts for dad for breakfast. :) Then on Sunday we all went over to the park to enjoy some sunshine. Emily is quickly becoming little Miss Independent and has a very definite idea of what she wants to do. She enjoys riding in the stroller as long as it is moving - but thinks that if it is stopped there is no reason she should sit in it when she could be up and exploring. :)
Next weekend will bring even more excitement as we head down to Columbus, GA for our niece's 4th birthday and try to figure out how to juggle an active one year old and two year old (our godson Jamie) at the church council meeting on Sunday....
