Silly time...

It was a relatively quiet weekend which was very nice! Saturday we each did a little Christmas shopping and grocery shopping to get ready for the week. In addition to delivering goodies - Jason and our friend Michael headed out for some poker Saturday night - while Emily and I got to stay home and play with Aunt Jenn and Abby and Dana. We had a great time playing in Em's play room and then with bathtime. The two girls had great fun with the bubbles and with another person in the tub to splash with. Both girls were full of giggles! Abby taught Emily how to bounce to music and just bounce in general (mom and dad were thrilled to find this out early Sunday morning when Emily decided to wake daddy up that way).

We also discovered that Emily is cutting more teeth again. Her molars are working their way through very painfully - her gums are very swollen and bruised which makes for a pitiful baby at night in particular. Hopefully we will pass through this relatively quickly...

Sunday we went to church and had a great time playing with Jamie in the nursery and then he and Emily ruled the restaurant at Ippolito's for lunch. Emily was very excited to see her babysitter Aunt Katie while we were there - and mom was very excited to see Javy Lopez (who does really look that good in person too). After lunch we headed home where Emily and mom took a 2+ hour nap... ahhh.... what a way to spend Sunday!
