At least most of this week has been the week of ickiness. Emily had a fever on Tuesday and part of Wednesday and just generally did not feel very good. She spent the day with me at the office on Wednesday and had a great time playing under my desk and in the recycle bin - but was a little too under the weather for school.
By Thursday she had developed some nasty congestion and it was still with us on Friday so I took her on into the doctor. One of the little boys at her school (not in her class though) has RSV so I asked the doctor about that - she said it could be that - that Em was sounding very congested and having some trouble breathing hence the cough. She ordered the test but did reassure me that RSV is basically just the adult cold virus only in children and their little systems aren't able to deal with it as well as ours. She also said if it had been during the week she would have just sent us on home and told us to watch it. But because it was a weekend she prescribed a nebulizer and inhaler treatment so we have been doing that 3 times a day. Emily really doesn't enjoy it but she is being pretty good about it and was already feeling a LOT better by the next day. We only have to do it until the cough is gone so that is the good thing... :)
By Saturday we were feeling good enough to head out to brunch with a friend of mine at another friend's new crepe restaurant - it was AWESOME!! And Emily charmed everyone including our waitress. :) Saturday night we had J's office party and Emily stayed with her Aunt Yancey; but did wake up for a few minutes when we got home - then we all slept in a little Sunday until church.... :)
Hopefully this week will be better!!! Love to all -
There are new pictures up!

When did you cut bangs??? It looks very pretty, and makes you look younger! Shows that I don't get to see you enough!
I just had them cut right before Thanksgiving - Slowly trying to mix things up a bit with the hair - it's a little redder than before too :)
